The short answer: Most standard services take around 1.5 to 2.5 hours from drop-off to completion. That covers the oil and filter change, fluid top-ups, a full safety inspection, and a check of brakes, lights and tyres — the core of what a routine service actually involves.
What extends that window is usually one of three things: a logbook service with additional manufacturer-specified items (spark plugs, cabin filter, more detailed checks at certain intervals), a part that needs to be sourced rather than being on hand for your specific make and model, or genuine extra work you choose to approve on the spot after the free safety inspection flags something worth fixing.
That last point is deliberate on our part — every service includes a complimentary safety check, and if we find something (a worn brake pad, a failing globe, low fluid), we'll show you with photos and quote it before doing anything. You decide whether to have it done that day or come back another time; nothing proceeds without your explicit go-ahead.
Making the wait easy: Being minutes from Highpoint Shopping Centre means you can drop the car off and spend the time shopping, grabbing lunch, or working from a café, rather than sitting in a waiting room — we'll call or SMS you when it's ready.
If you're on a tight schedule, mention it when booking — we'll give you a realistic estimate for your specific car and service type rather than a generic number.
