Move the car off the road if it's able to move, indicate, and pull as far left as possible. Turn on hazard lights immediately. If you can't move the car and you're on a busier road, stay inside with your seatbelt on unless it's safer to exit — on a freeway, exit on the passenger side away from traffic and stand well clear of the vehicle.
